Dear Black Girl (2019) is a video installation created for the Beautiful Project. The installation featured Black women reading letters to their younger selves and reflecting on the joys and pains of leaving their child selves on their journeys to adulthood.
Dear Black Girl premiered at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and was most recently on view at the Picturing Black Girlhood exhibition in Express Newark.
